Timothy Bradley To See Concussion Specialist Next Month

By Ryan Burton

WBO welterweight champion Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley has advised BoxingScene Radio/ that he is going to see a concussion specialist next month.

Last week, Bradley (30-0, 12KOs) won a unanimous decision over Ruslan Provodnikov in a thrilling fight that undoubtedly will be a candidate for "Fight of The Year." He took a lot of punishment in the process and in his post-fight interview he revealed that he had suffered a concussion.

"In a couple of weeks I am going to see a concussion specialist out of New York. My health is #1. It's not about the money or the fame. Health is #1. I am going to do whatever he tells me to do. If he says take 3 or 4 weeks off then I will.  If he says I can come back in two months then I want to do that. I made an appointment with him, he's a real busy guy and that's the soonest I can see him," Bradley explained.

Provo is not even a known heavy puncher at 140 like Teddy Atlas said and Everytime he touches Timmy he hurts the guy with almost every punch.

It'll be interesting to see when he'll be back in the ring.

LOL, he said the doc was booked up and can't get to him until next month. The initial doctor said that he had a "mild" concussion.
