Terri Harper's Manager Talks Unification Victory, Future Plans

Stefy Bull has established himself as one of Britain and Ireland’s top managers, as the Yorkshireman has been behind the success of some of the UK’s brightest prospects that are now establishing themselves at elite level fighters.

Terri Harper is at the forefront of Bull’s stable as the super featherweight standout unified the IBO and WBC world titles in her last outing, putting on a career-best performance in the process.

Bull opened up about his charge Harper and his stable as a whole.

He said, “Terri’s story is amazing. I’m so proud of what she has accomplished. She has proved hard work and belief pays off and we all believe in her and that is paying off. I thought she was outstanding in her last fight and I believe she is only going to get better.

“To win the world title is one thing, and I’m very proud to have been part of that journey. To unify them is stuff dreams are made of and thank you to Matchroom Sport for all their help in making this dream a reality.

“Terri is at the forefront of Yorkshire and British boxing right now. She has proven that she is top level fighter on multiple occasions now and solidified that against Wahlstrom. She’s inspiring a new generation of fighters that you can achieve your dreams in boxing. I am very proud of her for that.”

Bull also guides current IBO Continental Champion Anthony Tomlinson who impressed on Sky Sports last time out, dismantling Stewart Burt which going in was a 50/50 fight. However, it proved Tomlinson was levels above his Scottish counterpart, and Bull gave an insight into what’s next for Harper and Tomlinson.

The Yorkshire based all-rounder said, “For Terri I want her to keep unifying world titles. I want to add the WBO title to her collection and have her holding 3 world title belts. We’re aiming for the grand slam of titles that’s what we want. She is inspired to mirror what Katie Taylor has done in the pros.

“Anthony is coming along a treat. He’s a very good fighter and proved he has incredible power in his last outing. I think he’s ready for a step up. Connor Benn has been talked about and I’m happy for Anthony to be included in those conversations as I believe he is at that level right now.

“The future is bright for both of them. They improved on a massive platform on Sky Sports and are really flying the flag for the Pride of Yorkshire Promotions and Yorkshire boxing as a whole. Terri and Anthony are two people who had dreams and are showing with hard work you can get there. I’m incredibly proud of both of them.”

Mikaela Meyer is the female Dillian Whyte. She's been #1 with the WBC for a while and the champions keep ducking her.
