Team Seda Expect More Power Against Leo Santa Cruz

Leo Santa Cruz and his promoter Golden Boy Promotions are confident that he'll defeat his challenger Cesar Seda in style.

Unabashed, Cesar Seda Sr., the father and trainer of Cesar Jr., says he's delighted that Leo is so confident, because now it will be easier for his son to defeat him.

“It’s good that Santa Cruz is thinking ahead about another fight. We 're working hard to dethrone him, and if he’s not ready and focused elsewhere he 'll really regret it."

Santa Cruz (25-0, 15 KO’s) and ‘Junito’ Seda (25-1, 17 KO’s) will fight in a Showtime televised showcase on December 14th at the Alamodome in San Antonio Texas.

Seda Sr. is aware that his son is a little shorter than Santa Cruz but he said that it won’t matter because they are training very hard to overcome this tall order.

“We’re training hard. He's so strong and athletically fit. He hasn’t lost speed or power, on the contrary he has more power."
