Team Devon Alexander Send a Message To Tim Bradley

By Lem Satterfield

From their Barry's Boxing Gym workout facility in Las Vegas, manager and trainer, Kevin Cunningham, wanted to deliver a message on behalf of his 23-year-old southpaw WBC junior welterweight titlist Devon Alexander to Alexander's Jan. 29 opponent, 27-year-old WBO belt-holder Tim Bradley. Alexander (21-0, 13 knockouts) faces Bradley (26-0, 11 KOs) at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac, Mich.

"We're in the foxhole getting ready for war," said Cunningham. "Do you remember that big musical hit by Tiny Tim, that guy who played the ukulele? Well we're ready to make 'Tiny' Tim Bradley go tiptoe through the tulips just like he did."
