Szpilka Decisions Minto, Moves Forward To Mollo II

By Luke Furman

Hala Luczniczka, ul. Toruńska 59, Bydgoszcz, Poland - Top Polish heavyweight contender Artur Szpilka (15-0, 11 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Brian Minto (37-6, 24 KOs). Unlike his war with Mike Mollo earlier this year, Szpilka used his legs to box smart and outwork the very aggressive Minto. In the final minute of the round, Szpilka appeared to score a knockdown but the referee waved it off. The scores were 100-90, 98-93 and 98-92. Szpilka will now moved forward to another war with Mollo on August 16 at the U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago.

Damian Trzcinski (2-1, 1KO) stopped Damian Sarzala (0-1), who was making his pro debut, in the third round of their heavyweight match.

Krzysztof Kopytek (6-0, 2KOs) won a four round unanimous decision over Dzianis Makar (4-15-1, 3KOs) in a junior middleweight scrap. The scores were 39-37, 39-38, 39-38.

Welterweight prospect Przemyslaw Runowski (3-0, 1KO) stopped Aliaksandr Abramenka in the third round.

Junior middleweight Sasun Karapetyan (4-0, 1 KO) won a four round unanimous decision over Belarusian fighter Sergei Krapszyłą (2-2-2, 2 KOs).
Spilka not progressing, not a good sign. He's too busy always balling that Polish GF of his he poses with on FB. He's too cunt-struck, that boy.
Green K for that superlative Alan Bennett reference

Minto is doing pretty good. Not winning but giving a game effort.

Minto getting hit a lot. But he's still coming forward, and landing a few despite his shorter reach.
