Stevenson-Fonfara Eyed For May 24th in Montreal

The planned title defense by WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson (23-1, 20 KOs) is being targeted for an HBO televised date of May 24th in Montreal, Canada. Stevenson is going to defend his title against top contender Andrzej Fonfara (25-2, 15 KOs) of Poland. Stevenson had a breakout year in 2013, having stoppage victories over Chad Dawson, Darnell Boone, Tavoris Cloud and Tony Bellew.

Didn't he say the Kovalev fight was in his HBO deal??????? Let him have a gimme fight after all he did last year he does not have many more years of boxing left he might as well cash out while…
