Shane Mosley is Back, Faces Cano on May 18th in Cancun

Promoter Pepe Gomez of Cancun Boxing has announced that a deal was reached for former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley (46-8-1, 39 KO's) to face Mexico's Pablo Cesar "Homewrecker" Cano (26-2-1, 20 KO's) on May 18th in Cancun, Mexico. The event will take place at the Oasis Hotel and also feature Sergio “Yeyo” Thompson (30-2-0, 28 KO’s) and Ricardo “Rocky” Juárez (29-10-1, 21 KO’s) on the undercard. Televisa and Fox Sports Deportes will televise.

Mosley, 41-years-old, returns for the first time since last May's defeat to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Cano comes back from last year's close split decision loss to WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi. A few weeks ago, Mosley was close to a deal to fight Malignaggi but the fight fell apart due to financial reasons.

Is it sad that I actually NOW want to see his son fight more than Shane himself?

My avatar is literally the last cool or notable thing Shane ever did. We're like 3 years out from it now too.
