Saul Alvarez Respects Matthew Hatton, Expects Tough Fight

By Jhonny Gonzalez

Undefeated Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is expecting a tough challenge from Matthew Hatton, the probable opponent for Canelo's ring return on March 5 in Los Angeles. Alvarez is waiting for confirmation of the British boxer's acceptance of the contest. Alvarez has studied tapes of Hatton's fights. He was impressed with Hatton's footwork won't underestimate him in the ring.

"I know he's a very strong opponent and has a lot of experience. I've had the opportunity to see him fight several times and he knows how to move well around the ring. To fight these kinds of opponents makes me very happy, because you learn a lot from these kinds of fighters," Alvarez said.
