Porsche Arena, Stuttgart, Germany - After such a great fight, many fans are demanding an immediate rematch. In a heavyweight war, WBA "regular" champion Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 16 KOs) retained his title with a very tough majority decision over WBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck (34-2, 25 KOs). Povetkin dominated early, but Huck returned fire in the later rounds to stagger the WBA champion several times.

The scores of 114-114, 116-113 and 116-112 are being called controversial by some observers, who saw Huck as the winner.

And while Huck is demanding a rematch, the fight won't happen - at least for now.

According to Chris Meyer, CEO for Sauerland Event, Povetkin is now obligated to make a mandatory defense against former WBC champion Hasim Rahman (50-7-2, 41KOs).

"Povetkin has to do his mandatory against Hasim Rahman first. We can't get around it," said Meyer to BoxingScene.com.

In the next few weeks, Huck will make a final decision on whether or not he plans to return to cruiser or remain at heavyweight.
