Salido: Martinez Trilogy War Would Be Best of Series

Two-time former world champion Orlando “Siri” Salido is more sure then ever that he should have gotten the victory over Rocky Martinez last September 12 in Las Vegas when they met for the second time.
“As fighter in the ring you know what’s going on in a fight. If your winning, if your losing, if your doing the things you wanted to do and what adjustments to make in the heat of the battle. After my second fight with Martinez I was sure I did what I need to do to win the fight and was sure I had the victory”, said Salido.
After a going home he watched the fight a couple of times, more recently on Saturday night when I t was replayed by Showtime.
“Last Saturday I watch the fight again and there is no doubt in my mine that I won the fight.   I threw more punches, landed more punches and they were solid shots. Martinez might have won three rounds no more,” said Salido.
That seem to be the consensus on press row and with the fans that watch the fight, Salido won the fight and deserved his title back.
“I was happy about the fight and the way we both (Martinez) and I fought, and that we gave the fans a great fight and that they were entertain. That’s why everyone, including Rocky and I want a third fight and I am betting it will be the best one of the three if it does happen,”, said Salido.
There is talk that   third fight will happen in the first third of 2016 and both fighters are ready for it to happen.
“He (Martinez) said he would knock me out the next time, well I am ready to go to war and I also want to get the knockout., so I expect an explosive bout the third time a round, just tell when and where,” added Salido.
Salido will be in Los Angeles today and tomorrow Monday will be a guest in the ESPNDeportes boxing show A   Los Golpes with Bernando Osuna, David Faitelson and his childhood idol Julio Cesar Chavez Sr.
“I always enjoy my visit to the ESPN studios in Los Angeles, not only because of the exposure but because I have a special place in my heart for the city where I fought so much early in my career and where I really started my road to being a champion,” said Salido .
Salido is going to punish this puto Rican again!
The sad truth is that Salido may not have another good performance in him anymore, I hate to say this but I'd pick Martinez if they fight again.
