Sakio Bika Stops Dyah Davis: Bogere and Figueroa Win

MORE LIVE RESULTS.............

Home Depot Center, Carson, California - Super middleweight contender Sakio Bika (30-5, 21KOs) stopped Dyah Davis (21-3-1, 9KOs) in the tenth and final round to capture the vacant NABF championship. Davis barely threw any punches against Bika. He was inactive and Bika controlled the entire pace of the contest. In the tenth, Bika hurt Davis with a combination and started working him over. Davis had no legs and his hands were down as the ref jumped on to wave it off. It was the first time Davis was stopped in his pro career.

Lightweight Sharif Bogere (23-0, 15KOs) stopped Manuel Leyva (21-6, 12KOs) in two rounds. Leyva was dropped twice in the contest and took a pounding in the second before it was stopped.

Junior welterweight contender Omar Figueroa (17-0-1, 14KOs) knocked Tyler Ziolkowski (14-16, 8KOs) out in the first round with a cracking shot to the body.
