Ryan Martin vs. Luis Eduardo Florez Tops Hollywood Fight Nights

Top undefeated lightweight prospect RYAN MARTIN, (20-0-0, 11 KO’s), of Cleveland, OH by way of Chattanooga, TN will battle hard-hitting Colombian veteran LUIS EDUARDO FLOREZ, (23-8-0, 19 KO’s), in the ten-round main event in the debut of ‘Hollywood Fight Nights’ at the AVALON on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.

Sporting an unblemished record of 20-0 with 11 knockouts and training in Big Bear Lake, CA with the renowned ABEL SANCHEZ, the 25-year-old Martin returns to action following his most impressive victory on the sports’ biggest stage. On September 16, 2017, Martin won a 10-round decision over Francisco Rojo at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV on the HBO Pay-Per-View telecast of the Canelo Alvarez – Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin World Middleweight Championship.

A professional for seven years Florez has fought a wealth of world champions, top contenders and prospects including Miguel Berchelt, Regis Prograis, Jamal Herring and Sharif Bogere.

Most recently the 31-year-old Florez battled Anthony Peterson over ten rounds on January 20, 2018 in Brooklyn, NY in a hotly contested bout which was later changed to a ‘no contest’ when Peterson failed a post-fight drug test.

Co-featured at ‘Hollywood Fight Nights’ will be the highly anticipated professional debut of New York City’s BRIAN CEBALLO in a six-round welterweight clash again LUIES ALBERTO LONGORIA, (0-1) of Sonora, MX.

The 23-year-old Ceballo, a native of the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, now residing in Brooklyn, NY, will be making his professional debut on March 27. The charismatic middleweight had an outstanding amateur career finishing with a record of 206-13 which included winning the New York City Golden Gloves five times and participating in the 2016 US Olympic Trials.

In the junior middleweight division, Ukrainian knockout artist SERGII BOHACHUK, (6-0-0, 6 KO’s), will face LUCIOUS JOHNSON, (4-2-1, 3 KO’s), of Compton, CA.

Originally from Ukraine and now residing in Los Angeles, the 22-year-old Bohachuk has quickly and impressively compiled a record of 6-0 all by knockout since turning professional in February 2017. Also scoring a knockout victory in Las Vegas on September 16, 2017 at the T-Mobile Arena over Joan Jose Valenzuela, the welterweight most recently knocked out Kevin Ottley in the fifth round on December 7, 2017 in Costa Mesa, CA.

Bohachuk also trains with Abel Sanchez at The Summit High Altitude Training Facility in Big Bear Lake, CA.

The 26-year-old Johnson will be looking to get back on the winning track following to very hotly contested six round decision losses in his last two bouts.

Featherweights will be featured in a six-round clash as Riverside’s ANTHONY CHAVEZ, (4-0, 1 KO), faces Sonora, Mexico’s CARLOS APODACA, (1-7-2). The 21-year-old Chavez will be making his first start of 2018, following four dominant victories last year. In his last outing, Chavez won a four-round unanimous decision over then undefeated Sergio Quiroz on December 7, 2017 in Costa Mesa, CA. Chavez is guided by popular Southern California trainer HENRY RAMIREZ.

The 20-year-old Apodaca will be looking to stay in the win column following his first win as a professional, a four-round decision over Cesar Partida on February 17, 2018 in Los Algodones, Mexico.

In a four-round bantamweight bout, Maywood, CA’s JOSE CASILLAS will make his professional debut against MAY GORDUNA, (0-1), of San Bernardino, CA.

LUIS ROSALES, (2-0), of South El Monte, CA will look to stay undefeated in a scheduled six round featherweight clash against GUADALUPE ARROYO, (3-9-0) of Huntington, Beach, CA. Rosales is trained by the legendary BEN LIRA.

Rounding out the inaugural card, ALFREDO HERNANDEZ, (3-1-0, 2 KO’s) faces MIKE MELIKYAN, (1-2-1) of Hollywood, CA in a four-round junior welterweight bout.

Tom Loeffler was recognized by ESPN in 2017 as being involved in the promotion of the three biggest events of the year including the Anthony Joshua/Wladimir Klitschko World Heavyweight Championship at Wembley Stadium in London. Additionally, in the United States, Loeffler promoted the Gennady Golovkin/Daniel Jacobs World Middleweight Championship at Madison Square Garden and the massive Canelo Alvarez/Gennady Golovkin event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

These three events totaled over 130,000 tickets sold in addition to their extraordinary numbers in pay-per-view sales and network viewership worldwide.
