Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions, along with WinnaVegas Casino Resort are set to bring hometown heroes and skilled warriors for an action packed card on November 10, 2017.  The highly anticipated event will air live on beIN SPORTS (9 p.m. CT / 10 p.m ET) from inside the beautiful WinnaVegas Casino Resort in Sloan, IA.

Undefeated, 19 year old Max "The Baby Face Assassin" Ornelas (9-0) is considered by many to be a blue chip prospect in the sport of boxing at the 118lbs (bantamweight) division. Ornelas is also enrolled full time at The University of Las Vegas (UNLV) and was last seen back in July when he defeated

the previously unbeaten Leopoldo Matinez (6-1) from Laredo Texas by way of a 5th round TKO in Arizona.

"Roy Jones Jr. and I are honored to be a part of the Winnavegas Casino Resort team." stated Keith Veltre, CEO and Co-Founder of Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions. "My team has been welcomed with open arms from the staff and we  could not be more excited to showcase our talent in Iowa.  It is always exciting to give the fight fans, not only a stellar fight card, but as well to bring them the one and only Roy Jones Jr. himself."

"On behalf of Winnavegas Casino Resort I am really looking forward to this show and working with Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions and as always Ringside Ticket Inc." stated Mayan Beltran GM of Winnavegas Casino Resort  "Of course, we are anxious to meet Roy Jones Jr. and have him as the guest star at the event."

Ornelas is taking a huge leap in competition as he takes on the WBA #14 contender and reigning WBA Pan-African Champion Nick Otieno (31-11) from Kenya Africa in a 10rd main event. Just to show the vast discrepancy in experience, Otieno has more bouts (42) fought in his professional career than Ornelas has rounds fought (34) not to mention the quarter of a century age gap (19 and 44).

Otieno who in his last fight defeated Haji Juma (17-9) in Kenya for the vacant WBA Pan-African Championship will be making his USA debut when he takes on Ornelas on Friday November 17 at the WinnaVegas Casino Resort. Otieno has won 10 out of his last 12 and has never been stopped or even knocked down. Nick will definitely pose the biggest and most difficult test in the young career of Ornelas. On the other hand, a victory over Otieno will be a huge accomplishment for Max and definitely solidify his place among the Bantamweight ranks.

"I am thrilled to be working with Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions and having the legendary Roy Jones Jr. appear at the WinnaVegas Casino Resort on November 17th." stated Patrick Ortiz CEO of Ring Side Inc "Fight fans will get to see a great fight card and meet the Roy Jones Jr. in person.......now that is a night of boxing fans do not want to miss."

The Co-feature bout will showcase Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions Randy Moreno (10-1) from Las Vegas, NV. Moreno is riding a two fight winning streak since suffering an extremely controversial TKO loss back in March 2017. Moreno recently defeated Raul Chirino (12- 7) by TKO2 on October 19 in Las Vegas on ESPN3. Like Ornelas, who just so happens to be Moreno's good friend and training partner will be taking a huge step in class in his professional career as he takes on Fatiou Fassinou (28-7).

Fassinou will provide the toughest test for the young Roy Jones Jr. Boxing prospect. Fatiou was the former WBC International Champion and like Otieno has more bouts (38) than Moreno does rounds (33). Fassinou is coming off a close decision loss to undefeated Brandon Figueroa (14-0) back on July 15 in New York.

Boxing Legend and future first ballot Hall of Famer, Roy Jones Jr will be in attendance to watch all the festivities.

Sean Wheelock, Jim Greishbar and Patrick Ortiz  will call the action live from ringside, while the undercard will be visible to the public starting at 7:30 PM CT on https://royjonesjrboxing.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2e8a7c31a885394bc85caf571&id=6c1a2353f4&e=9d820aa0da
