This Saturday, March 15 in Pennsylvania, Ronald Cruz (20-2, 15 KOs) will be involved in the biggest fight of his career when he faces former world champion Kermit Cintron (34-5-2, 28 KOs) in a matchup of Puerto Rican boxers who are residents in Pennsylvania, scheduled for 10 rounds in the welterweight division. The fight will be televised on NBC Sports from the Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem.

"I know the public has been a little annoyed with the past performances of Kermit, but for this fight he returned to his old trainer (Joe Pastore), who was with him in his first 24 fights, where he on 22 by knockout and sincerely I hope to make a good showing on Saturday because I want the public to see action from start to finish," said Cruz.

"A win over Kermit Cintron would put me back in the picture where I was before and he needs to win in order to give a new boost to his career, but I know that with my two losses I have gained great experience and I will use that experience. I hope to bring pride and glory to Puerto Rico and someday be able to fight there."

Cruz vs Cintron will be the co-feature to the heavyweight main event where Polish star Tomasz Adamek (49-2, 29 KOs) will face Ukrainian puncher Vyacheslav Glazkov (16-0-1, 11 KO).
