Juan Carlos Reveco (29-1, 16KOs) is in full training to defend his interim-WBA flyweight crown on the 27th of February against Masayuki Kuroda (21-3, 13KOs) in Japan. He plans to leave for Japan on Februray 16th to get adjusted to the time difference. In the coming weeks, he will be sparring for fifteen days with the much larger Mauricio Munoz and Fabian Orozco (featherweight and super bantamweight contenders respectively).

Reveco says the Kuroda fight will be part of a two fight plan, with the second fight likely to take place in Japan as well. Reveco hopes to get in position to face the current champion Brian Viloria (also the WBO champion).
