Quick Shots: K9 Bundrage Beats Molina For IBF Title

Oasis Hotel Complex, Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico - 41-year-old Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (34-5, 19KOs) regained his IBF junior middleweight title with a twelve round unanimous decision victory over Carlos Molina (22-6-2, 6KOs). Molina, who went down in the first and the tenth, was making the first defense of the title. The scores were 116-109, 117-106, 115-110.

Bundrage had lost the title on a close majority decision last February to Ishe Smith, who then lost the title to Molina in a close split decision in September.

Gotta salute the old guy for going to Mexico and flat out TAKING the title back. I don't give him huge odds to beat the world beaters in that division, but at least he'll get a good paycheck now.
