Proksa vs Zbik in Talks, Alekseev-Licina Eyes For Jan

By Per Ake Persson

Sauerland have January 2012 as the target month for Aleksander Alekseev vs Enad Licina, with the vacant EBU cruiserweight title at stake. Alekseev is promoted by EC Box Promotion and if he wins Sauerland loses a little bit of their firm control on the cruiserweights.

As previously reported, former WBC middleweight ruler Sebastian Zbik is now the mandatory challenger for newly crowned EBU king Grzegorz Proksa. The parties involved are in negotiations and there´s no deadline for an agreement or purse bids just yet.

Would have to give Zbik his due if he gets in with Proksa in his first fight after Chavez. Proksa would hammer Chavez and should hammer Zbik as long as Sauerland refs don't interfere too much

proksa beats him for sure, but it's a good name for him. hopefully it gets made.

Can't wait for Proksa to clown Zbik and prove how overrated Chavez Jr is.
