Middleweight Grzegorz Proksa (26-1, 19 KOs) is hungry to get a rematch with Kerry Hope (17-3, 1 KO). Last Saturday in Sheffield, the Polish boxer was upset in a shocked, losing his European championship. He suffered a bad cut early in the contest, above his left eye, from an accidental clash of heads and couldn't see for the rest of the fight. Initially it was believed that his cut would take take several months to fully heal, but Proksa expects a full recovery in a much shorter span of time.

"I accept [the loss]. I only have myself to blame. I do not want to look for cheap excuses. After the the clash of heads in the second round, I couldn't see from the left eye. I was afraid that the referee would immediately stop the fight due to injury and I would lose by technical knockout. My whole tactical plan [fell apart]. I fought against the British boxer, the referee and the British judges. But I'm always boxing away [from home]. I'm used to it - and I'm not looking for excuses.  I want him to fight again, regardless of the money. For me, it's personal now. I know I'm better than him, and I'll prove it in a rematch," Proksa said.
