Photos/Weights: Tarver vs. Kayode, Wright vs. Quillin

By Osman Rodriguez

The weights are in for Saturday's Showtime televised quadrupleheader at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, California. In the main event, undefeated Lateef Kayode (18-0, 14 KOs) will challenge IBO cruiserweight titleholder Antonio Tarver (29-6, 20 KOs). Tarver came in at 198-pounds, while Kayode was 199-pounds.

Unbeaten middleweiht contender Peter Quillin (26-0, 20 KOs) will go against the comebacking veteran and former unified 154-pound champion Winky Wright (51-5-1, 25 KOs) a former world champion. Quillin came in at 160.2-pounds and Wright was 159. Quillin has two hours to remove .2 from which won't be a problem. ***He returned to weigh in at 159.6.

WBA "regular" 154-pound champion Austin Trout (24-0, 14 KOs) will defend the title against veteran Delvin Rodriguez (26-5-3, 14 KOs). Trout was nearly a pound over at 154.8, while Rodriguez was way under at 151. Trout has two hours to shave off .8 and that won't be an issue. ****He returned to weigh in at 152.8.

A battle for the vacant IBF bantamweight title features East LA’s undefeated Leo Santa Cruz (19-0-1, 11 KOs) against South Africa’s Vusi Malinga (20-3-1, 12 KOs). Santa Cruz and Malinga both came in at 117-pounds.
Tarver has a solid chin and Kayode hasn't proven his power against top level yet. Hope Tarver puts on another classy performance like he did vs Green. WTF is up with that loser Quillin's hair? He has a ghey pride…
Kayode needs to get tested. What's up with all those veins on his arms? :lol1:
steroids user....no doubt...
Tarver always look soft ... he better be on-point with Kayode because even though Kayode doesn't have the best technique, he's a raging bull sometimes and all it takes is one good shot and Tarver is going to be in…
