Photos/Weights: Rodriguez vs. Luna, UniMas Card

Fallon, Nevada -  Unbeaten 'Kid Dinamita' Saul Rodriguez of Riverside, Ca. has a lot  at stake when he takes on tough Texas fighter Ramsey Luna outdoors at the Churchill  County Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 22. Photos by Eric Killen/Top Rank.

The big event is promoted by Top Rank, Let's Get It On Boxing and the City of Fallon.

Saul has a record of 17-0-1, 13 KOs. Ramsey, from Corpus Christi, Texas, is 12-3, 5 KOs.   The two super featherweights are in the main event.

"Saul's manager Cameron Dunkin and I know the importance of this fight," said Robert   Garcia,   chief trainer of Saul. "Winning and looking impressive while doing it is important  as Saul is getting closer to a title fight opportunity. Saul has trained very, very hard for  this."

Saul said "I know the importance of what this fight is all about.  I've been boxing since   I was eight years old. I used to wrestle with friends but I always wanted to box. When I saw  the fight between Fernando Vargas and Tito Trinidad, that's when I began to box all the  time."

Ramsey Luna said "I'm a pressure-style fighter. I come forward. I began boxing when   I was 15. My Dad is tough too - he does houses for a living - painting and sheet-rocking."

The big card includes unbeaten super bantamweight Victor Pasillas, 10-0, 3 KOs, of   East L.A.. He is taking on Andres Tapia, 8-4-2, 2 KOs, of Mexicali.  This eight
round bout will open the telecast on Top Rank's Solo Boxeo Tecate event aired nationally on UniMas.

Pasillas won 25 amateur gold medals, going 272-6 before beginning his professional   career.

Much attention will be on Reno fighter Oscar 'Chapito' Vasquez, 8-1, 1 KO. He will
face flyweight Jose Toribio, 6-1, 1 KO of San Diego.

Oscar said "I was born, raised in Reno. I had about 60 fights as an amateur and won   state and regional titles four times back to back. The last four years of my amateur career  I always competed in National PAL tournaments, the USA tournaments and Golden Gloves.  My dad is a trucker. "

There will be six bouts on the card.

Ticket prices are $27 for advanced ringside, $12 for adults, $10 for Military and Seniors   and $7 for children 10 and under.  Call 775 423 4556 to purchase  tickets.
