The undefeated Cuban "King Kong" Ortiz (21-0, 18 KOs) scored 233.8 pounds, while Nigerian "Power" Kayode (20-0, 16 KOs) was 221.2 pounds on the scale. The interim WBA featherweight king, Argentine Cuellar (24-1, 18 KOs) weighed 125.6 pounds, while his Puerto Rican challenger Lopez (34-4, 31 KOs) was 125 pounds.
