By Elisinio Castillo

Tomorrow night marks the return of former flyweight and super flyweight World Boxing Organization (WBO) world champion Omar "El Huracan" Narvaez, who goes up against against Diego "La Pantera" Liriano Pichardo, who is Dominican but living in Buenos Aires. The fight will occur in the province of Narvaez's hometown of Chubut.

At stake will be the interim-Latino super flyweight championship that was vacated the by Roberto "Incho" Sosa after finalizing his fight on September 27 against Japan's Kazuto Ioka for the World Boxing Association (WBA) title.

Narvaez (43-2-2, 23 KOs), 39-years-old, says the upcoming fight against Pichardo (16-6-1, 3 KOs), 30, will be the first fight of his march to another new world title.

This will be Narvaez's first fight since getting knocked out by Naoya Inoue in two rounds last December in Japan.

A fraction of what Narvaez used to be should be more than enough to win this fight. It will be interesting to see if he tries to fight high world class again one day though.
