Photos: Shabranskyy Putting in Work For Sergey Kovalev Clash

The International Boxing Association announced Friday that it will sanction the upcoming light heavyweight battle between former unified world champion Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev (30-2-1, 26 KOs) and Vyacheslav "Lion Heart-Chingonskyy" Shabranskyy (19-1, 16 KOs) for the IBA Light Heavyweight World Title. The fight will take place at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, November 25, is presented by Main Events and Krusher Promotions in association with Golden Boy Promotions and will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing® beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT and. The IBA also announced that in addition to the Kovalev-Shabranskyy bout, the 10-round non-televised undercard bout between Bakhram Murtazaliev (10-0, 8 KOs) and Carlos Galvan (16-5-1, 15 KOs) will be for the IBA Super Welterweight World Title. This bout is presented by Main Events and Krusher Promotions.

Kovalev vs. Shabranskyy is a 12-round fight for the vacant WBO Light Heavyweight World Title promoted by Main Events and Krusher Promotions in association with Golden Boy Promotions. Barrera vs. Valera is a 10-round light heavyweight fight promoted by Main Events in Association with Shuan Boxing Promotions. Gamboa vs. Sosa is a 10-round super featherweight fight promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Peltz Boxing and ZR Entertainment. The event will take place at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

What's the point, a bltch like him who is a fake soviet warrior can't possibly win, and even if he does a true soviet warrior like Bivol will end him in a round

I believe the IBO were looking into santioning this fight but when the WBF said they were interested, they pulled out. The WBF deal fell through as one fighter accidentally paid the World Bear Foundation instead of the BOXING foundation,…
