Photos: Salido Back To Hard Work, Waits For Trilogy

Former world champion Orlando 'Siri' Salido is back to work after going to an unpopular twelve round draw with WBO super featherweight champion Roman 'Rocky' Martinez on the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Andre Berto undercard last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Most ringside observers had scored the fight in favor of Salido.

Salido and his team have already made a request to the WBO for a trilogy title fight. Martinez won the first meeting earlier this year with a twelve round decision in Puerto Rico.

Upon coming back home to Phoenix, Arizona, Salido started light training by attacking the front lawn.

"No rest, only work," said Salido.

Although Salido is way past his prime, he probably has 2 or 3 wars left in him and I will enjoy every second of them. Too bad he can't make 126 anymore. I would have loved watching him destroy Santa…
