Charlie Edwards is officially set to kick off his flyweight reign.

The 26-year old British flyweight will make the first defense of his 112-pound title versus Spain’s Angel Moreno, which tops Saturday’s bill at Copper Box Arena in Hackney Wick, London, England.

Both boxers easily made weight for the main event; Edwards tipped the scales at a cut-and-trim 111.4 pounds, while Moreno checked in at a ripped and ready 111.25 pounds.

The bout tops a bill which will air live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and stream live on DAZN in the United States.

Edwards (14-1-1, 10KOs) came up aces in his second bid at a major title, ending 2018 with a bang in a 12-round nod over Cristofer Rosales last December. The feat took place at the O2 Arena, which also served as the site for his previous title fight—and lone career loss—when he was stopped in the 10th round by John Riel Casimero in Sept. ’16.

Six wins have followed for the streaking flyweight heading into Saturday’s title fight.

Moreno (19-2-2, 6KOs) brings a nine-fight win streak into his first shot at a major belt, along with his UK debut and just his third career bout outside of his native Spain.

The 35-year old from Madrid is winless on the road, with both of his career losses coming in his opponent’s home country. Moreno, who is guided by former World middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, suffered a July ’15 decision defeat to Artem Dalakian—now a flyweight titlist—and a March ’16 points loss to Thomas Masson in France.

Also on the show are a pair of unbeaten prospects and 2016 Great Britain Olympians in Joshua Buatsi and Lawrence Okolie

Buatsi (9-0, 7KOs) looks to extend his current four fight knockout streak as he faces Liam Conroy in a 12-round British light heavyweight title fight. The 2016 Olympic Bronze medalist has scored three straight 1st round knockouts.

Both boxers were well within the 175-pound limit; Buatsi weighed in at 173.5 pounds for his first scheduled 12-round fight, while Conroy (16-3-1, 8KO)—riding a 10-fight unbeaten streak—weighed 173.6 pounds.

Okolie defends his British cruiserweight title for the first time as he faces veteran Wadi Camacho (21-7, 12KOs). Okolie (11-0, 8KOs) tipped the scales at a 199.2 pounds, while Camacho was slightly lighter at 199.1 pounds.
