BT Sport Studio, UK - Heavyweight Nathan Gorman (17-1, 11 KOs) bounced back from his first career defeat by winning a ten round unanimous decision over Richard Lartey (14-3, 11 KOs).
The scores were 99-92, 100-90, 100-90.
For Gorman, this was his first fight in 16 months since July of 2019, when he was knocked out in five round by Daniel Dubois.
And Lartey has been out since April of last year, when he was knocked out by Dubois in four rounds.
Gorman looked a bit rusty and his timing seemed off in the early rounds. Lartey was pressing forward, with Gorman boxing and a lot of holding between the two.
Gorman was starting to land solid shots in the fifth and pushed Lartey back. As the fight played out, Gorman was just doing more work and landing more punches. Lartey was pressing forward, but not throwing enough until the last few rounds.
