Photos: Luis Nery, Renson Robles - Ready For Battle in Mexico

By Rafael Soto

Luis Nery will have, in 2019, one of the best years of his career. World championship fights are on the way, unifications and probably the scenario of moving a division up.

To do so, he must leave with his arm up this Saturday, at Arena Pavillon del Norte de Saltillo, leading the first function of the last month of the successful 2018 boxing season of Zanfer Promotions, broadcast by Casa del Boxeo, Azteca 7.

The Gala is in co-promotion with the promoter Special Events Rocky by Héctor Sánchez.

The "Pantera" Nery (27-0-0, 21 KO's) of 23 years, a former world champion at bantamweight will face Venezuelan Renson "Gato" Robles (13-5-0, 7 KO's), in what is expected a duel of action, with two boxers of speed and power.

This Friday, at the weigh-in ceremony, both Nery and Robles freed the process of the scale without problems, and reported in optimal conditions to provide a great fight.

Luis Nery is a beast. I'd like to see him mix it up with the top guys at 122 pounds. Nery vs Dogboe in 2019 would be a great fight.
