By Luke Furman, bokser.org

Kopalnia Soli, Wieliczka, Poland - The event had a very special theme, because it took place 400 feet underground in an old salt mine. In the main event of the evening, rising heavyweight contender Krzysztof Zimnoch (17-0-1, 11 KOs) outpointing overmatched veteran countryman Art Binkowski (16-4-3, 11 KOs) over eight rounds. Binkowski, 38-years-old and fighting just for the second time in six years, didn't just come for a payday and tried his best to remain competitive. He troubled Zimnoch with his right hands in the first and had a good round five. Otherwise, it was Zimnoch's fight, as he mixed left hands and uppercuts to keep Binkowski at bay. The younger man pressed forward in the closing rounds but failed to stop a wobbled Binkowski inside the scheduled distance. The scores were 79-74, 80-71 and 80-71.
