Photos: Juan Diaz, Mike Alvarado Ready For Return Fights

HOUSTON, TX – Everything is ready and the stage is set for Saturday's ring return of former lightweight world champion Juan ‘Baby Bull’ Diaz, who makes his ring return as part of the televised card for 'Solo Boxeo Tecate' at the Arena Theatre in ‘Space City'.  Photos by Liz Kreutz.

Diaz (40-4, 19 KO’s) is scheduled to rumble against Mexico’s Fernando Garcia (30-7-2, 19 KO's) in the main event of the card that will take place in front of his hometown fans. Their match is scheduled to take place a little bit above the lightweight limit of 135-pounds.

Also on the card, former welterweight world titlist ‘Mile High’ Mike Alvarado (34-4, 23 KO’s) will battle against Saul Corral (19-6, 10 KO's) in the bout that will open the March 19 UniMas telecast.

The respective fights of these two warriors will be televised from coast to coast in the United States at 11 p.m. ET/PT on UniMas’s ‘Solo Boxeo Tecate’.

Alvarado looks like sh*t. Not physically but just looks bad. We'll be hearing bad news about him in a few years. Hope Im wrong though.

Diaz actually looking a bit less chubby than 7 years ago. I didn't even know Alvarado was back.
