Photos: Jorge Linares Ready For 140 Debut Against Abner Cotto

Former three-division world champion Jorge "El Niño de Oro" Linares (44-4, 27 KOs is ready for his  12-round bout against Abner "Pin" Cotto (23-3, 12 KOs) in the main event of the Sept. 29 edition of Golden Boy Fight Night on Facebook Watch at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. "Ruthless" Romero Duno (17-1, 14 KOs), who will fight in the co-main event.

Linares weighed in at 137.4-pounds, while Cotto was 137.8-pounds.

Linares vs. Cotto is a 12-round super lightweight fight presented by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Teiken Promotions and Miguel Cotto Promotions. The event is sponsored by Tecate,"THE OFFICIAL BEER OF BOXING," and Hennessy, "Never Stop, Never Settle." The fights will take place Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif. The action will be  streamed live globally on Facebook Watch via the Golden Boy Fight Night Page.

Looking forward to seeing Jorge move up. He does look more healthy, and should be able to put in work at 140.

Abner Cotto physically doesn't look ready for this fight. Linares will knock him out.

It's always a bit bizzare when fighters "Move up in weight" and in reality, fight guy from lower weight-class - in bigger weight-class. Whatever, good luck to Jorge.
