Photos: Jayson Velez vs. Alfredo Santiago, Serrano-Silgado Weigh-in

The promoter 'Fresh Productions' held the official weigh-in for the card called 'Night of Prospects III' which will take form tomorrow, Saturday from the Coliseum Cosme Beitia.

In the main event, Alfredo 'Ojo' Santiago (6-0, 2 KO) weighed 129 pounds and Jayson 'La Maravilla' Vélez (23-3-1, 16 KO) weighed 130 pounds in for their upcoming 10-round.

"I'm glad we both gave the weight and I understand that Jayson and I are ready to give a big show to the fans," said Santiago.

"Everything was done to the letter in training, I feel great, 2017 will be a great year for me," said Jayson Vélez.

For the vacant World Boxing Organization (WBO) world title at 126 pounds, Carolina's Cindy Serrano (25-4-3, 10 KO) weighed 124.8 pounds and Colombian boxer Calixta Silgado (15-7-3, 10 KOs) weighed 124.4 pounds. In winning, Serrano and her sister Amanda would become the first sister world champions in the history of women's boxing.

"Puerto Rico, we have already passed the first round. Now we are going to move on to history books because I will be crowned world champion," said Cindy Serrano.

"I work hard for this fight," said Calixta Silgado. "The WBO world title goes to Colombia."

Albert Machado (17-0, 13 KOs) of San Juan and his opponent Orlando Rizo (19-8, 11 KO) of Nicaragua weighed 130 pounds for their ten-round bout.

For the World Boxing Association Fedecentro title at 147 pounds, Derrieck Cuevas (12-0-1, 10 KO) weighed 146.6 pounds and Daniel Sostre (13-11-1, 5 KO's) of Vega Baja weighed 146.4 pounds.

In the 122-pound range, Abimael's 'Manos de Piedra' Ortiz (2-0, 1 KO) weighed 121 pounds and his opponent Jaxel Marrero (1-7-1, 1 KO) from Bayamon weighed 122 pounds.

In the 108-pound division, Wilfredo 'Bimbito' Mendez (3-0, 1 KO) of Trujillo Alto weighed 106 pounds and Gustavo Ortiz (2-3-1, 1 KO) of Toa Alta weighed 108

César Sánchez Of San Juan weighed 119 pounds and Frankie Santiago (0-1) of Dorado weighed 120 pounds.

At 122-pounds, Jose Bartolomei (1-0, 1 KO) of Juana Diaz weighed 123 pounds and Jonathan de la Paz (0-2) of San Juan weighed 124 pounds and Bernard Lebron (2-0, 2 KO) weighed 144 Pounds and Joshua Andrade (debutante) weighed 148 pounds.
