Photos: Heather Hardy Defeats Ana Julaton on Bellator Card

In the first bout of their two-fight agreement, Heather Hardy won a unanimous decision over Ana Julaton in the main event of Bellator 194 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

Leading into this bout, there was a two fight agreement reached where the two boxers turned MMA fighters would first collide in the cage and then regardless of the outcome they would the face each other in a boxing ring - with the second fight taking place in the coming months.

Julaton (2-4 MMA, 0-2 BMMA) did a lot of clinches and Hardy (2-1 MMA, 2-1 BMMA) was a bit reckless - which made a fight that lacked the necessary fireworks after both fighters did a lot of talking in the pre-fight.

The final scorecards were 30-27 twice and 29-28 for Hardy, who recovers after suffering her first career defeat in MMA. Julaton dropped her second straight bout and has lost four of her past five.

The lack of action was surprising, because Hardy was fired over losing 20 percent of her purse for being a share over the weight-limit on Friday. The local commission would not allow her to remove her bathing suit to make weight.

That was among one of the worst fights I've ever seen, male or famale. Have no desire to see a rematch in a topless wrestling match (well maybe a topless wrestling match, but not anywhere else).

I hear a lawsuit. Why wouldnt commision let them take off clothing. Men are allowered. A lil discrimination?
