Photos: Froch, Kessler Trade Words at Herning Weigh-In

By Michael Cotter

WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch (26-0, 20KOs) weighed in at 167.3 for his defense against Mikkel Kessler (42-2, 32KOs), who came in at 167.1, on Saturday night at the MCH Arena in Herning, Denmark.  Froch is taking on Kessler in the second stage of the Super Six Boxing classic and both men looked fit and focussed on the scales. The two fighters traded some last minute trash talking before they were separated.

Dunno who I want to win. Maybe a close decision win for Kessler. I think both beat Abraham, so Froch could make semi's even if he loses here, unless he is knocked out badly which I personally can't see happening…

WAR FROCH, although I am a fan of Kessler too so I hope he knocks Green out in the final round and makes it to the semi's.
