San Juan, PR - Puerto Rico's Felix "El Diamante" Verdejo is ready for his return to the ring this Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Mario 'Quijote' Morales Coliseum in Guaynabo.

Diamante Promotions and DIRECTV joined together for a live and exclusive broadcast of Noche de Campeones DIRECTV from 9:00 pm on the exclusive channel on DIRECTV Channel 161. The event will start with amateur boxing from 5:00 pm, as announced today at a press conference staged at the Museum of Sports of Puerto Rico in Guaynabo.

"El Diamante" Verdejo returns renewed at a key moment for his career guided by an experienced team of professionals and his newborn daughter Miranda, who has become his greatest inspiration.

"My process of physical and mental preparation for this fight has had great adjustments with Evangelista Cotto, Ricky Marquez and Memo Heredia in my corner, I feel confident and now everything is completed with Miranda by my side, I am anxious because the bell is already ringing," said Verdejo.

Verdejo, at 25 years old, has a record of 23-1 (15KO's) and will be facing the Mexican fighter Yardley Armenta Cruz of Los Mochis (24-11, 14KO's) who arrives directly from Sinaloa, Mexico for a match of 10 rounds at 135 pounds.

The doors of Don Quixote Morales will open early (starting at 4:00 in the afternoon), continuing until the main event of the night between Verdejo vs. Armenta.

Verdejo has some of the best tools in boxing, he has a great arsenal, very athletic fast but lacks the Killer Instinct.
