Photos: Crolla Beats Yordan To Secure Lomachenko Title Shot

David Allen, who will fight on the undercard of Kell Brook’s WBA welterweight title eliminator against Michael Zerafa at the FlyDSA Arena in Sheffield, took out Ariel  at the end of the seventh round.

Ricky Burns stopped Scotty Cardle in great fashion and proved he still has plenty more in the tank. The pair clashed in a late-notice lightweight dust-up at Manchester Arena, with the Scot getting the better of his former sparring partner in a statement-maker.

Tony Bellew vowed to retire from boxing after Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk defended his WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO cruiserweight titles with an eighth-round knockout of the Brit.

Roared on by a passionate home crowd, Bellew started brightly and was ahead on two of the three judges scorecards when the fight was stopped.

But Usyk, who has never lost a professional fight, was the man getting stronger as the bout wore on and delivered the knockout blow with a left hand to leave Bellow floored.

Josh Kelly took less than a round to move to 8-0 in the paid code. The Sunderland welterweight, who has the WBA Inter-Continental and Commonwealth titles at the weight, dismantled Walter Fabian Castillo inside a round.

I'd rather see Loma vs Campbell than Crolla. I wanna see how Loma fights a guy with gorilla like arms. Also, they're both Olympic gold medalists.

If the Mikey Garcia fight doesn't happen, and it doesn't look like it will, I'd rather him face someone like Commey for the IBF rather than fighting Crolla.
