Mexico City, Mexico - The capital city had a huge press conference for the big WBC middleweight title fight between challenger Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and champion Sebastian Zbik Sebastian of Germany, scheduled for June 4 at the Staples Center on a Top Rank and Zanfer Promotions card and it willl be broadcast by HBO and in Mexico on TV Azteca.

The conference was directed by Fernando Beltran, president of Zanfer and also attended Todd duBoeff, President of Top Rank, Don Jose Sulaiman, WBC President, Julio Cesar Chavez, Sr., WBO junior flyweight world champion Giovani Segura and the newly crowned WBA flyweight champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (41-0-1, 30 KOs) will seek his first world title after a seven-year career.  Germany's Sebastian Zbik (30-0-0, 10 KOs), will be making his fourth world title defense of the belt he first won in July 2009.

"I'm excited to take on Julio Cesar, son of a great idol Chavez. I'm ready to win on a big stage like the Staples Center. I'm planning to have a great fight and I'm not worried at all about Chavez's record or his knockouts. I've never been knocked out so my goal is to get a lot of preparation time and to defend my crown," said Zbik.

"Since I was a child, I have dreamed about this moment. I will get ready to the best of my ability to defeat Zbik. It will be a tough fight, but nothing in life is free and I want to achieve my dream and and at the same time I want to satisfy all of you, the fans and my family," Chavez said.
