Undisputed, #1 pound for pound, women's world champion "The First Lady" Cecilia Braekhus weighed in for her title defense at a ready 145.8 lbs., while former women's WBC world champion, and title challenger Kali "KO MEQUINONOAG" REIS came in at 144.8 lbs.

The opening bout will mark the first ever, women's boxing match to be televised on HBO, with Cecilia Braekhus of Cartagena, Colombia (32-0, 9 KOs) meeting Kali Reis (13-6-1, 4 KOs) from Providence, RI, in a ten-round welterweight title bout. Braekhus seeks to extend her nine-year world championship reign in her 22nd consecutive title defense. Reis, unfazed by the underdog role, looks to defeat the undisputed champion, to earn the WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO titles in the welterweight division.

That's pretty cool that they are going to have Cecilia Braekhus on before the Triple G fight. Something different, I like it.
