The joint-main event on the show, WBO World Super-Welterweight Champion Liam Smith and undefeated challenger Jimmy Kelly also weighed-in.

Liverpool ace Smith was spot on the weight at 11st and looked strong for his maiden title defence against his bitter rival.

Unbeaten Manchester challenger Kelly, coming into the fight a big underdog, was just under the weight at 10st 13lbs, but he’s in the mood to cause an upset.

Smith said, “No problems at all with my weight, bang on 11st and ready to smash Kelly to bits for all his talk,”

Kelly added, “For a world title fight tomorrow night I’m pretty calm about it! I can’t wait, I’m not making any promises or threats, but upsets can happen.”

I wonder if Showtime extreme is showing any undercard fights or are they just showing the main event Lee vs Saunders It would be nice if the United States had the same type of boxing coverage that the UK, Germany…

Come on Andy. Think Saunders with his movement and speed will probably light Andy up early but I think Andy will overtake him around the midway point and stop him late!!!
