The scores were 98-91, 98-91, 98-92.
Hardy looking to establish a jab to keep Serrano at bay. The body of Serrano was seen early on, as she was pushing Hardy back with punches that were connecting to the head and body.
At the end of the first, Serrano rocked Hardy and gave her a beating with numerous combinations that nearly stopped the contest. As she did in the first round, Serrano pinned Hardy against the ropes and was beating her up to the head and body.
Hardy did better in the third with her movement, but Serrano was still in full control. Hardy was game, coming forward and trying to make Serrano fight off the back-foot in the fourth and fifth. And Hardy continued her boxing rally in the sixth, using movement and counters to keep Serrano at bay.
Serrano went back to unloading with hard shots in the seventh, especially to the body. She continued to dominate the action with big shots until the final bell.
