2004 Olympic gold medal Alexander Povetkin continues to rebuild his career in style. Two fights removed from a decision loss to heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko, Povetkin stopped the usually durable Manuel Charr early this year and on Saturday night he knocked out Carlos Takam with a single punch to capture the WBC silver title in Moscow Russia. The fight was even after eight rounds, but Povetkin changed everything with a huge ninth - where he dropped Takam hard with a series of shots. Takam never recovered and was knocked out cold in the tenth. Photos by Allboxing.ru.
