Photo: Earl Lands in Australia For Katsidis Rematch War

Graham Earl touched down in Australia today ahead of his much anticipated rematch with former 2 time WBO world champion, Michael Katsidis 'The Great' on Friday night at Rumours International convention centre in Toowoomba.

A fit and hardened Earl today declared "Its only days until I bring back bragging rights for the whole of England as I claim my victory that I should of had in 2007, when we traded blows before. Michael has said there will be no trilogy and he is correct when he says that, as once we box I will make it his last fight and retire him from boxing. This fight has been burning inside me ever since the last fight in 2007 and I'm determined to make this right."

This fight will be streamed live on www.liveboxing.com.au

"Smithy Brings the Big Fights 7" at Rumours International in Toowoomba. It will be headlined by the much anticipated rematch between Michael Katsidis "The Great" vs Graham "Duke of" Earl for the WBU world junior welterweight title. The night will also feature a stacked undercard which will include "Iron" Will Young who will square off against Emanuel Micallef for the Australian featherweight title. Filipino star Jack Asis will take on Revo Rengkung. Also on the card will be the battle of the big men "The Hermanator" Herman Ene-Purcell vs "Frosty the ice man" Jamie Frost. English import Darren "The Cumbrian Cyclone" will take on Indonesian Eddy Comaro as well as fellow Englishman Josh "The Boss" Baillie vs Kyle "Tank" Teer. Tressa "T-Rex" Lindenberg will also be on the card when she takes on the Gold Coast's Brittany Muscat.

All I can do is wish good health to both men, and that Earl in particular makes it back to England with his senses intact. :(
