Pavlik vs Cunningham in Play For August 6th Clash

BoxingScene.com has been advised that super middleweight contender Darryl Cunningham (23-2, 10KOs) is seriously being considered as the opponent for former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (37-2, 32KOs) on August 6th in Youngstown, Ohio. Pavlik's hometown return will be televised by Showtime. Pavlik is taking an August tuneup in preparation for a possible November fight with IBF champion Lucian Bute.

This is a guy from Detroit who has a bunch of wins against has beens and punch drunk fighters plus he's up in age with no real top notch fight expierence. Pavlik gets a KO with no effort.

I was thinking Kelly's one tough SOB if this fight comes through; and then I realized it ain't the Cunningham I had in mind. :(
