Palacios Plans To Box Wlodarczyk, Then Knock Him Out

Unbeaten cruiserweight Francisco "The Wizard" Palacios (20-0, 13KOs) has vowed to fight until his last drop of blood on April 2, when he challenges WBC champion Krzysztof "El Diablo" Wlodarczyk ( 44-2, 32 KO) in Bydgoszcz, Poland. Palacios wants to dominate the action with his boxing ability and then go for the knockout.

"I'm not going to fight his fight when I can beat him with my speed and boxing, and then hit him with straight punches or hooks and then end the fight," Palacios said. "We're going in there to fight until the last drop of blood and if we go to a decision, the judges will have no problem giving me the fight."

Palacios is training at the Legacy Fitness Gym in Winter Park, Orlando, Florida. He is the underdog in the fight. Recently he received the backing of Puerto Rico boxing legend, Felix "Tito" Trinidad, who expects Palacios to bring the belt back to Puerto Rico.
