Michael Koncz, the adviser to eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38KOs), has advised BoxingScene.com that his fighter will return on November 24th in Macua, China. It will be Pacquiao's first overseas fight since he decisioned Oscar Larios over twelve rounds in June of 2006 in Metro Manila. The opponent has yet to be decided.

"I don't want to put my hand on table [and reveal the frontrunner] because people are going to demand more money. We are definitely fighting in November, on November 24th [November 23 in the United States] and it's definitely in Macau. As to an opponent, we are still working on that and that's why I'm here in Vegas. I will be going to back to the Philippines next week, more for the elections than boxing but I am in contact with Manny every day or every other day," Koncz told BoxingScene.com.

The two opponents in the running for the HBO Pay-Per-View event Mike Alvarado (34-1, 23 KOs) and Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23 KOs). Koncz indicates the pay-per-view would be staged at a local time which falls in the line with the traditional start time for most major boxing pay-per-views. In terms of the preference, Koncz says either fighter will be perfect.

"I think Rios and Alvarado, both of their styles make for perfect opponents so it really doesn't matter to me which one. I think it's question of which one is not going to overprice themselves," Koncz said.
