Oscar Molina Makes Pro Debut on Montiel vs. Caro Bill

By Miguel Rivera

BoxingScene.com has been advised that 22-year-old Mexican Olympian Oscar Molina will make his pro debut on November 24th at the Gimnasio Municipal Josué "Neri" Santos in Juarez, Mexico. The card is headlined by a super bantamweight fight between former champion Fernando Montiel (48-4-2, 37KOs) and Giovanni Caro (24-11-4, 19KOs).

Two weeks ago Molina, who plans to go pro as a welterweight, signed a promotional agreement with Dan Goossen, who already promotes Oscar's twin brother, 2008 Olympian Javier Molina (11-1, 5KOs). Their older brother is unbeaten pro Carlos Molina (17-0-1, 7KOs), who faces Amir Khan on December 15th. Carlos is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and managed by Frank Espinoza. The Molina twins are managed by Arnulfo Bravo.
