Trainer and manager, Oscar Diaz, was suspended for life by FECOMBOX [Federación Mexicana de Comisiones de Boxeo], after the organization detected the fraud he committed by forging medical authorizations and changing boxer's identities.
Boxer Pedro Palma, from Tijuana, Baja California, had a fight on February 28th in Rosarito, B.C., where he was knocked out in the fourth round. Manager and trainer, Oscar Díaz, then tried to secure Palma another fight - with another name and a fake medical authorization - in Mexicali city.
This was the second time this manager was caught conducting dishonest practices.
