Lightweight Omar "Pinky" Tello (3-0, 3 KOs) scored a second-round KO over Theodore Walters (0-3) in the main event at the Bayou City Events Center in Houston. In the first round, Tello, 18, ripped a left hook to the ribcage that sank Walters to his knees. Walters came out swinging in the second round and Tello gladly engaged him in the trenches. A left hook to the body followed by a short right to the head put Walters on the canvas for the full count.

The card, comprising of five boxing bouts and two MMA matches, was promoted by Savarese Boxing Promotions.

Former amateur standout Travell Mazion (4-0, 4 KOs) scored an impressive third-round TKO over veteran Aaron Anderson (2-25, 1 KO) in a junior welterweight bout. A left hook to the body dropped Anderson in the third round and the follow-up assault prompted the referee to halt the massacre.

Featherweight Marc Torres, 17, made a successful pro debut by stopping Joe Anthony Narro (0-6) in the third round.

Heavyweight Roberto Silva Jr. (2-0, 2 KOs) stopped Anthonie Robie (0-2).
