Omar Figueroa (20-0-1, 16KO) made quick work of Henry Aurud (14-7-1, 11KO) in their Fox Deportes-televised main event Saturday evening in San Antonio, Texas.
An overhand right was enough to put Aurud down and out, at just 0:47 of round one.

Errol Spence was forced to go the distance for the first time in his young pro career, but pitched a four-round shutout against Luis Torres (4-3-3, 1KO). Scores were 40-36 across the board for Spence, who served as the final eliminated member of the futile 2012 U.S. Olympic Men's Boxing squad that came up empty in London.
Jermall Charlo remained perfect at 12-0 (8KO) after scoring an impressive third round knockout against Gilbert Venegas. A right had put Venegas (12-9-3, 8KO) on the canvas, to which he arose on rubber legs. The referee waved off the bout without another punch being thrown, with the official time 1:24 of round three.
