Cuban heavyweight Odlanier Solis (20-3) is back in Hamburg where his pro career began back 2007 and fights Serbian Milos Doveden (2-25) on Thursday (August 4) in the EC Boxing Gym in a fight scheduled for six-rounds.
Solis last fought in February of 2015 and was stopped by Tony Thompson looking out of shape and very much out of it. However, against Doveden - stopped in his last three and stopped in 22 of his 25 losses - there shouldn´t be much problem in what is a horrendous mismatch.
A Solis in shape can still become a factor in the heavyweight division but not even at the beginning of his pro career did the Cuban look in shape and it got worse over the years. Also on the bill are cruisers Mario Daser (10-0) and Nikola Milalic (12-1) as well as super middle debutant Tuncay Ucar.
