Odlanier Solis-Leif Larsen Likely For October 12th Bill

By Per Ake Persson

It now appears likely that Cuban heavyweight Odlanier Solis will take on Norwegian Leif Dolonen Larsen on October 12 in Madrid - with Arnold Schwarzenegger acting as MC. The promoter behind the event has stated that he has a signed contract from Solis.

Larsen is a former NFL pro who late in his career turned to boxing in an on and off career that has seen him build a record of 16-0 and he stopped Danny Williams in two last year for his biggest win yet.

Solis, 18-1, appears to be in a different league though but it also must be said that Odlanier´s physical shape always remains a questionmark.

On the undercard, Spanish lightweight champ Emiliano Casal take on tough Portugese veteran Joao Bento with the vacant WBO European title at stake.

Larsen has a terrible record to be matched up with Solis who is chubby with elite boxing skills , he's 37 years old never been 10 or 12 rounds in his life and has a extremely padded record of 16…

[QUOTE=rune585;12484516]As long as it lasts, this fight will be a cracker! Solis better be prepared,or else he is gonna get knocked the fakk out! Larsen is awkward, but extremely difficult to box. I read someplace that Larsen is slow, and all power, the worst…
